Unnichchai Tank Central Spill Bridge

The works included demolishing of existing bridge deck piers, deck and construction of wider pier on the raised central spillway to accommodate a motorable bridge for heavy vehicles.The bridge consisted of pre-stressed pre cast beams of 6m span to form a 174m length of bridge.

Construction of Aravi Aru Bridge in Arrippu on Thallady Arippu Marrichchukaddi Road (B-403)

The Aruvi Aru Bridge was constructed across Malwathu Oya at Arippu on Thallady – Arippu - Marichchukadi Road (B403).

The bridge consisted of six spans, totaling 256m in length and 7.35m wide steel deck structure.The foundation of the bridge consisting of bored piles were erected on bed rock up to the pile caps and the bridge piers of reinforced concrete were casted from the pile caps to bridge deck beams.

Steel Bridge at Weras Ganga Storm Water Drainage & Environment Improvement Project

This is an emergency bridge at Weras Ganga Storm Water Drainage & Environment Improvement Project to connect the main water stream of the North Canal

with Weras Ganga main canal.

Medawachchiya Mannar - Talaimannar Road (AA014) Project

The rehabilitation and improvement of this two lane road includes DBST road surfacing, base improvements, reconstruction of all structures, town improvements and incidental works.This road connects the A9 road at Madawachchiya.

Kanthale Pipe Laying

The project involved the supply of 400mm diameter DI pipes,

225mm, 110mm and 90mm PVC pipes to replace the existing pipe lines. The laying of new pipes was done in deep trenches along the A6 main road from Kanthale to Ganthalawa.The rock out crop in the trench trace had to be chemically blasted to reach designed invert level of the trench.

Navatkuli Kerathivu - Mannar Road (A-32) Projec

The rehabilitation and improvement of this road includes concrete surfacing, base improvements, reconstruction of all structures and incidental works. This road connects Mannar to Jaffna.
